The Owlet and The Moon
by Eva Solska, Zhenya Ptytsya
Description
The title shows how fears can be overcome in a playing manner.
The Owlet is very scared of darkness. Once all members of his family flew away to hunt and he stayed all alone for the first time in his life. The Owlet was very scared and wanted to follow his family. On the way he met the old Eagle Owl. The Owlet told him about his fear and the Eagle Owl invited him to visit the Moon, his old friend. The Moon appeared to be very shy and timid and the Eagle Owl explained that despite making friends for ages the Moon never appeared to him.
Since then, every night the Owlet visited the Moon to walk her. They fly in different places and the Owlet even dared to fly to face his biggest fear – a big mountain where he believed a scary gigantic bird lived.
Those walks helped the Owlet to forget about his fear and to find a new friend!
