Ghazaleh Bigdelou, writer and illustrator (1980), has a bachelor’s degree in Painting from Tehran University. She is a member of the Illustrator’s Society. She has worked professionally as a children’s book illustrator and held many international exhibitions. She has also written children’s books and illustrated them herself. Some of her awards include: • Selected in the Sharjah Children’s Book Illustration Exhibition, 2012 and 2014 • Chosen for the Catalog of the Third CJ Picture Book Festival, Korea, 2010 • Winner of the Golden Pen Award Belgrade International Illustration Exhibition, 2009
