A long time ago, a group of friends always met at the Kronen Bar to consume their youth through sex, drugs and alcohol. In certain occasions they flirted with death; some of them even ended badly.
It's been a long time. It's been twenty five years exactly. Now they have jobs and earn their lives pretty decently. Some got married and have kids. Almost none of them takes drugs anymore and their former wild nights out have turned into evening wine tastings.
When Carlos receives some news that totally shocks his life, he feels the urge to get back in touch with his friend Pedro, who he hasn't seen in many years. Maybe their reencounter will only be an excuse to remember the past. Or maybe it will be the perfect beginning of their last binge...

Author Biography
(Madrid, 1971)
José Ángel Mañas is a Spanish writer from the neo-realist generation of the 90's. He has published many successfull novels such a Historias del Kronen; Mensaka; Soy un escritor frustrado; Ciudad rayada; Sonko95 or La pella and also the essays Un alma en incandescencia. Pensando en torno a Franciam Charlot (aforismos sobre pintura); El legado de los Ramones; La literatura explicada a los asnos and Un escritor en la era de Internet. He has recently won the Premio Ateneo de Sevilla with La última juerga, a sequel of that great first novel that was Historias del Kronen. His books have been translated into many languages.
