Author Biography
An animation college graduate, Richard Vallerand has been active in 2D and short film animation for the past twenty years. Before devoting himself to his art full time, he also worked in graphic design and development for entertainment giants, like Warner Brothers and Disney for many years. When the opportunity to start his own practice came along thanks in part to Dijef, he leapt and cofounded La shop à bulle workshop, a creative space dedicated to comic strips. The LabRats (Les Laborats) combines comic strips published in the popular science magazine for teens, Curium.
