Author Biography
(La Habana, Cuba, 1959)
Zoé Valdés has been part of UNESCO and the Cuban Culture Office in Paris between 1983 and 1988. She has taken part in the Cuban pictorial movement, has worked as a screenwriter and assistant director of the magazine “Cine Cubano”. She lives in Paris as an exile since 1995. Her works are translated into many languages and have won such prestigious prizes as the Azorín Award or the Fernando Lara.
