Excellent dark, disturbing and very compelling, with a hard literary edge that serves the tale and the characters within extremely well.' --Liz Wilkins, Liz Loves Books
'Sean Rooney is as much of a mess it is possible for a person to be. That he is not a corpse is a miracle in itself! This is a powerful, well-written story that does not shy away from facing some difficult issues. First and foremost is Rooney and his problems. He is a total screw-up and drinks to excess. Keenan is a talented writer.' --Crime Fiction Lover
'The Father of Crime.' --Russell Leadbetter, the Evening Times
