Author Biography

Fabio Luis Barbosa dos Santos is a professor at the Federal University of São Paulo (Unifesp) and at the Postgraduate Program in Latin American Integration (Prolam) at the University of São Paulo (USP). He is the author of Origins of radical thought and politics in Latin America (Editora Unicamp, 2016), Além do PT: the crisis of the Brazilian left in a Latin American perspective (Elefante, 2016) and A history of the South American progressive wave (Elefante , 2018), in addition to being co-organized of the books Cuba in the 21st century: dilemmas of the revolution (Elefante, 2017), Mexico and the challenges of late progressivism (Elefante, 2019), Frontiers of dependence: Uruguay and Paraguay (Elefante, 2021 ) and Panic as politics: Brazil in the imaginary of Lulism (Mauad, 2020). More information at: https://fabioluiscom.wordpress.com/ Daniel Feldmann is an economist from the University of São Paulo (USP), with a doctorate in economic development from the State University of Campinas (Unicamp) and a post-doctorate at the Sophiapol laboratory at the University Paris X – Nanterre, in France. He is a professor at the Federal University of São Paulo (Unifesp) where he has taught and researched in the areas of Brazilian economy and political economy.
