Author Biography
María Menéndez-Ponte began writing in the 1990s, after having published numerous articles in Galician newspapers, having lived for five years in New York and having graduated in Hispanic Philology. Although he writes both novels and short stories and short stories, his texts are mainly aimed at young children. After reaping many successes, his career has been awarded the Cervantes Chico Prize and the Golden Book for the novel I will never be your hero. He has also collaborated in the production of textbooks, musical projects, scripts, and articles in newspapers and magazines.
