Author Biography
Ika Natassa is a banker with a passion for writing. The Architecture of Love is her eighth novel after A Very Yuppy Wedding (Gramedia Pustaka Utama, 2007), Divortiare (Gramedia Pustaka Utama, 2008), Antologi Rasa (Gramedia Pustaka Utama, 2011), Twivortiare (Gramedia Pustaka Utama, 2012), Twivortiare 2 (Gramedia Pustaka Utama, 2014), Critical Eleven (Gramedia Pustaka Utama, 2015), and Underground (Gramedia Pustaka Utama, 2016). AVYW was selected as Cosmopolitan Indonesia Editor’s Choice in 2008, and she was nominated for The Talented Young Writer in Khatulistiwa Literary Award in 2008.
In 2015, she was selected as one of the Indonesian delegates for the Frankfurt Book Fair. Antologi Rasa, Twivortiare, and Critical Eleven had been adapted into feature films.
Natassa had been awarded as Best Employee in Managerial Category by Bank Mandiri and Women Icon Award by The Marketeers for her agility in balancing her careers in banking and in writing. Her most recent work is the critically-acclaimed miniseries Sementara, Selamanya (Temporarily, Eternally) which she released in 2020, the screenplay book was also published by Gramedia Pustaka Utama in 2020.
