Author Biography
Iván Repila was born in Bilbao in 1978. He is a writer, editor and cultural administrator. The co-founder of the publisher Masmédula Ediciones, which specializes in contemporary poetry, he has worked for different national and international bodies and institutions on the production, coordination and management of cultural congresses and events and theatre, music and dance festivals. He is the author of the novels Una comedia canalla (A Scoundrel Comedy, Libros del Silencio, 2012) and El niño que robó el caballo de Atila (The Boy who Stole Attila’s Horse, Libros del Silencio, 2013), which was published in ten countries. Several film producers have recently acquired the options to both novels for cinematic adaptations.
