Author Biography
Judith Newton is Professor Emerita in Women and Gender Studies at U.C. Davis where she directed the Women and Gender Studies program and the Consortium for Women and Research.
She has published five academic books on nineteenth century British women writers, feminist criticism, women in history, and men's movements.
Her memoir, Tasting Home, was published in 2013 with She Writes Press. It received a starred review in Publisher's Weekly and won ten independent press awards. The screenplay Tasting Home is based upon the memoir.
She is at work on a feminist cozy, Oink! A Food for Thought Mystery.
