Author Biography

Hryhoriy Avramovych Falkovych is an Ukrainian Jewish poet born in Kyiv. He is a member of PEN Ukraine and the National Writers' Union of Ukraine, and a winner of numerous literary awards. In recent years he has focused on poetry for children (friendly-ironic, musical, inventive, witty, and kind), and his work became a noticeable phenomenon for  this segment of the national culture.

Yana Grankovska was born on 9 September 1988 in Kyiv. She graduated from the Kyiv Secondary School №285 and the Book Graphics Department of the Kyiv Polytechnic Institute. 

Rostyslav Popsky was born in Shepetivka, Khmelnytskyi region, on July 4, 1981. He worked as a drawing teacher for some time after university, then sent several drawings to Ababahalamaha Publishing House in 2010 and suddenly received the offer to illustrate Adventures of King Macius, one of the favourite books of his childhood. That radically changed his life and, as a result, he completely and irrevocably focused on book illustration, leaving civil service.
