Soul Keeper
by Rocco Luigi Gliro
Description
It’s a story between reality and dreams,
between hope and the inevitable. It’s
about life and death. The protagonist is a
graveyard’s keeper, and he’s also the
narrating voice. He tells the stories and
the dead listen. What’s interesting about
this graveyard is that the dead are crammed
in drawers, not cemetery plots, as if
they were documents to be read in order
to learn something and live a better life.
The graveyard has its rules: in the
morning the dead leave the graveyard
and head for home (what used to be their
home before they died) to go visit their
living relatives and help them solve
remaining problems. The dead want to
make sense out of their death and the
keeper wants to make sense out of his
life.
