Author Biography
Susan's family came to Florida in the late 1800’s and has been there for five generations. She borrowed from her memories of, as she puts it, "our old cracker family stories" while working on Seashells, Gator Bones, and the Church of Everlasting Liability. The book was a pleasure to write, she says. Most of the characters just sort of magically appeared on the page.
She currently resides in Dunedin, Florida and is active with several writing groups. She's delighted that all three of her children live in the area, which has not always been the case.
