Description
In “The Secret Colony” Jendrik has got to do something! His best friend, Sandor the bat, is in danger. There are hardly any insects left. Sandor and the other bats are struggling to find enough to eat. Jendrik decides to investigate, and soon makes an unsettling discovery. There is only one way to protect Sandor – and it’s going to be risky. Together with the talking bat Sandor and a host of other animals, Jendrik and his friends raise the alarm. But will they be able to convince the grown-ups?

Author Biography
Dorothea Flechsig worked for many years as a journalist for various newspapers and magazines. Meanwhile she has published several novels, mainly for children. She has trained as a scriptwriter and teaches Creative Writing to adults and children.
