Author Biography
Alexandre Kostolias was born in Rio de Janeiro in 1949. Son of a Brazilian mother from Rio de Janeiro, and a Greek father, he graduated in International Relations from San Francisco State University (Magna Cum Laude, 1985) and from the University of California, Berkeley. He published the children's book My Greek Grandfather (Panda Books, 2010) and the novel A brief suicide in Vienna (Oito e Meio, 2012). Alexandre Kostolias is on Facebook, lives in Rio de Janeiro and is increasingly dedicated to his literary projects, including novels and short stories.
