Author Biography

Ismaël Ouédraogo was born and lives in Abidjan. He went to a primary school in Akoupé village (South East of Ivory Coast), while he lived with his paternal grandma. She often narrated traditional stories and legends to him. At age 11, he started writing. He holds a BTS in Business Management and a Bachelor’s Degree in Letters. He founded the Ivoire Club Écriture (ICE) association in 2013, alongside other young Ivorians. In November 2019, he took part in the 1st edition of the ‘‘Contes d´un soir’’ initiated by the ‘‘Organisation internationale de la Francophonie’’ in Abidjan.
