Author Biography
Ritu khoda Ritu Khoda holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Lady Sri Ram College, New Delhi and an MBA from IIM, Calcutta. She gave up a successful corporate career to establish Artist in 2009, in order to challenge the myopic outlook of schools on art. She works with folk and contemporary artists and designers to reorganise art education. She lives in Mumbai. and Vanita Pai- Vanita Pai joined Manipal School of Communication with the idea of becoming a news anchor. A discerning mentor made her realize her potential for creative writing, which she grew to love eventually. She lives in the university town of Manipal, where she volunteers as an art teacher at a local school and takes Yoga classes for beginners.

Based in India, it was founded in 2009 with the goal of advocating visual art education as a core discipline in public and private schools, museum education, and community-based settings. They publish books to build cultural knowledge for children.
