He recounts his story from his early childhood growing up in Cross Hands, his work as a coal-miner, his achievement on the rugby field when he played for Wales against the British Lions, and his period as a minister in the Amman Valley, Aberystwyth, and latterly in the Lampeter area.

Jonathan Lewis, the great grandson of the company's founder, is the current managing director. Gomer Press today is both a thriving printing company and the largest publishing house in Wales.
