This study sheds light on the chronology of the history of the postal services in the Trucial States during the period from 1909 to 1971. It is considered one of the historical dilemmas facing any researcher or writer aiming to comprehensively describe these overlapping and independent eras at the beginnings of establishment of the State, before the birth of the Union. The study provides a simple account of the beginnings and the significance of postal services, as well as the successive events of formation, management and development of such postal services in the region. The author attempted to document all available and documented sources and link them together to reach the closest result to the truth. Based on all these data, this study is developed, in an adventurous attempt to delve into the secrets of postal history in the Emirates before the establishment of the Union in order to provide the reader with a valuable study to be added to the record of the history of postal service development of the United Arab Emirates.

She was graduated in 1994, holder of Bachelor’s Degree in History and Archeology, United Arab Emirates University, College of History and Archeology
She was graduated in 1999-2000, holder of Masters in Modern and Contemporary Arab Gulf History, Thesis: Postal Services in Trucial States between 1902-1971, University of Sharjah
Objectives:
Dealing with the public. She has worked for 23 years in the field of tourist guidance inside and outside the Fujairah Museum, which enabled her to deal with different races and age groups as well as with different types of personalities, as she take on diplomatic responsibilities.
She is willing to achieve her future objectives to become a researcher, archeologist, and an administrative official in order to develop her skills to serve the UAE.

Sharjah Documentation and Archives Authority
Sharjah Documentation and Archives Authority, earlier Sharjah Centre for Documentation and Research, was established by resolution no. (4) of 2010, issued by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan Bin Muhammad AL Qassimi, member of the Supreme Council, the Ruler of Sharjah. In 2016, H.H. Ruler of Sharjah issued resolution no. (4) of 2016, on the establishment of Sharjah Documentation and Archives Authority. The objectives were set to collecting and preserving documents related to the emirate, as well as the development of the documentation and archive system. Furthermore, the Authority shall oversee the management of current documents and mediate documents with concerned parties. The Authority represents the local body concerned with all matters of documents and archiving and it abides by the best international standards for preserving and maintaining documents. The Authority works to strengthen cultural and historical awareness and encourage scientific researches and intellectual creativity.
