Paulo Galindro and David Machado, two of Portugal's most well-known illustrators and authors, got together during the pandemic to start a project called "One Day At a Time". Every day, they posted on Facebook a small text and an illustration, quickly gathering a huge following. They then started a crowdfunding campaign to be able to self-publish the book (they went over the requested amount on the campaign's very first day), a tremendous success with the Portuguese audience.

Author Biography
Paulo Galindro was born in 1970 and has a degree in Architecture. He has illustrated countless books for children and young adults, including works by David Machado and António Mota. He has illustrated four novels by Luis Sepúlveda, to wide acclaim, including from the author himself. Paulo Galindo has received countless awards and is renowned for his use of unconventional techniques and materials.
Bookoffice
Bookoffice first came about in 2010, establishing itself as the first Portuguese literary agency catering to Portuguese authors. At the time, we only had three authors under our belt. Now, seven years later, we have strengthened our position both in the Portuguese market and abroad, and manage over thirty authors writing across a great variety of genres, including literary fiction, children’s books, young adult novels and non-fiction.
