The author María José Ferrada, was recently awarded with one of the most important prizes for children books in Spanish Language: the XVII Premio Iberoamericano SM de Literatura Intantil y Juvenil
Author Biography
María José Ferrada. She graduated from Chile’s Universidad Diego Portales in Social Communication. She studied Linguistics applied to Translation at Universidad de Santiago de Chile and she studied a Master in Asian Studies at Universidad de Barcelona. She is an author of screenplays for short films.
Andrés López. He graduated from the course of Narrative Illustration at the Facultad de Arte y Diseño of UNAM. He achieved the first place in Concurso Nacional de Cartel (National Poster Contest) (2017) and first place in the Catálogo de Ilustradores (Illustrators Catalogue), which were both organized by Secretaría de Cultura (Mexico’s Culture Department). His work was selected for the IX Catálogo Iberoamericano de Ilustración (Ibero-american Illustration Catalogue) (2018).
