Author Biography
With over 150 published titles, Gilles Tibo is one of Quebec’s most prolific writers. First recognized for his talents as an illustrator, he discovered his passion for writing many years ago. Gilles Tibo is a two-time winner of the Governor General’s Literary Award and his books have received many international prizes, including Japan’s Owl Prize and the Hans Christian Andersen Prize. His beloved character Noémie was adapted for the big screen in the movie Noémie, le secret.
