Author Biography
Genç Osman Yavaş was born in Switzerland in 1971. He completed middle school in Switzerland but then moved to Turkey where he studied at Üsküdar Anatolian High School and graduated from Art Teaching at Marmara University. He is the lead singer of the music band Mavisakal and has released a solo album titled “Gökyüzü Masmavi”. Since he started reading, he has always been fond of children’s books and has fi nally decided to write one of his own. The book series My Uncle and I is dedicated to his nieces Elif and Peri is his first work.
