My Life With the Stars
by Tony Flood
Description
Flood reveals the secrets of Elvis Presley, George Best, Frank Sinatra, The Beatles, Britt Ekland, Muhammad Ali, The Beatles, Joan Collins, Peter Sellers and a host of others.
Former Sky Television executive Tony says: “I tell how Sinatra switched from Mr Charming to Mr Nasty, how Elvis became an embarrassment and how Dudley Moore was humiliated by Barbra Streisand.
“Meeting George Best and Muhammad Ali brought me into contact with two glamorous ladies who were offering to have sex with them! One was so desperate that she gave me her G-string, tied around her room key, to pass on to Best.
“During my time as Controller of Information at Sky TV, I was rubbing shoulders with a load of big name sports stars and had to overcome problems when dealing with snooker ace Jimmy White and football manager Ron Atkinson.
“I also reveal what it was like to be Bobby Moore's boss at the notorious Sunday Sport.”
As Daily Mail writer Sami Mokbel says: “WOW! So many of the stars' secrets now come out!” My Life With The Stars has also been recommended by many big name stars.
Flood's journalistic missions saw him take dancing lessons from Strictly's delightful Erin Boag, perform as a stand-up comedian, and play football with George Best and Bobby Moore.
The most emotional story Flood ever wrote was when he obtained an exclusive interview with Liverpool goalkeeper Bruce Grobelaar the day after the Hillsborough disaster, the deadliest stadium-related tragedy in British history.
