Mutual Aid Group for Marriage tells the story of Ning Zidong, a "surplus woman" who pretends to marry Geng Jian, a man who also remains single at a age above average for marriage and suffers from huge family pressure. In order to describe their psychological problems and dilemmas detainedly, the writer simultaneously and intentionally brings together three women with different obstacles in love as sisters of a family. Although Ning Zidong and Geng Jian finally fall in love, and their sisters all have happy endings, the social problems of love that commomly exsit in contemporary China are worth pondering.

Author Biography
Qiao Ye was born in Wuxiu County, Henan. She is a professional writer of Henan Literature Academy and a member of Henan Writer’s Associate. She has published prose collection An Angel Passing By, novel Being Alive is the Slowest, Statement of Confession, etc. She has won many significant literature award in China including Zhuang Zhongwen Literature Award, People’s Literature Award, Yu Dafu Fiction Award and Lu Xun literature Award.
