Author Biography

Born in Cameroon, Anselme Djeukam is an author, and illustrator for young people. For his numerous creations, he is now recognised by IBBY (International Board on Books for Young People). Anselme has been invited to several international meetings, notably those of IBBY 2004, 2008 and 2012, where he was a speaker. He has also been president of the Cameroonian Association of Authors and Illustrators of Children Books (Aile-Cameroun). Anselme Djeukam has a degree in Science and Techniques of Biomedical Analysis and has worked in several public hospitals in his country. He now runs an analysis and quality control laboratory in the town of Bafoussam where he lives.
