Shanghai People’s Fine Arts Publishing House has spent five years to publish one hundred kinds of “Masterpieces of Classical Chinese Calligraphy”. In order to allow readers to fully follow the same origin of Chinese painting and calligraphy, we are determined to publish “Masterpieces of Classical Chinese Painting” to show the brilliant achievements of Chinese painting (mainly scrolls from the third century). We introduce into the multidisciplinary achievements to explain the technique, explore historical and cultural information, track the provenance and inheritance of the over one hundred masterpieces of Classical Chinese Paintings.
