Description
This book is an initiative of the Regional Groups of Historical Memory (GRMH), which, together with the National Center for Historical Memory since 2013, generated proposals for the construction of historical memory in Colombia. The objective of the consolidation of the GRMH has been to recognize local research processes carried out by university professors to build bridges between the country's institutions and communities victimized in the framework of the internal armed conflict in Colombia.
Although the participatory social research bets are nourished by multiple edges, disciplines, and schools of thought, there are methodological peculiarities in the investigations that are formulated in the key of historical memory that, on this occasion, are transversal and are deepened in each chapter.

Author Biography
Diana Vernot
Sociologist from the University of Roehampton London and a Master's in Cultural Studies from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana. Professor at the Universidad de La Sabana. He has studied issues related to the cultural axes of cooking and eating through the study of material objects, as well as issues of food sovereignty and security. Member of the Research Group on Food, Process Management and Service.

Laura Fonseca Durán
Doctoral student in the Department of Psychological and Behavioral Sciences at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). MSc. in Health, Community and Development of LSE, and psychologist from the Universidad de los Andes. Assistant professor at the Universidad de La Sabana. He has worked on post-conflict issues, particularly on mental health issues with victims of the armed conflict and in reincorporation processes with former FARC guerrillas in the Héctor Ramírez Poblado Center.
