Each one of us, at a point in our lives, are scared of something. Most of these fears are created unconsciously and are baseless. As we grow older, these fears change or turn into new fears. This process is a natural process and feeling scared is a natural feeling as well. The little boy of this story is talking about his fears and how he used to be scared of other things which are no longer scary to him. What is important is not letting fear stop us from living our lives or doing what we love. You know what they say: “Be afraid and do it anyway!”

Author Biography
Ghazal Mousavi was born in 1982 in a family of booklovers. She used to love listening to the books her mom read to her as a child. After going to school, though, she was the one reading books to her mom and others! Reading those books helped her become an adventurous person who was eager to try new things all the time. She has worked in industrial design, interior design, graphics, art MBA and even copywriting, linguistics, teaching and writing educational and non-educational books. She now works in a publication and writes children’s books in her spare time, in hopes of inspiring children all over the world to live life to its fullest.
