Reviews
《I Want My Carving Knife》, in my opinion, is undoubtedly one of Liu Jianping’s masterpieces and his satisfied works. Many of us, like a file, fill our children carefully and affectionately until we make them a ball that can slip into a hole. Will this lead the great nation once admired by the rest world to vanish?
Jianpin attempts to make his children’s works obtained a larger social capacity, and tried to give the children back to the society. He is not proud of that the world of children is a zone of peace anymore. Instead, he desires to expose and present the complication of the world to the innocent children. He intends to make the children grow faster and more mature, like couch grasses on the beach swept by the autumn wind and standing like a copper wire with metal brightness.
Please return the carving knife to the children! Doesn’t it work?
