Author Biography
MARÍA JOSÉ FERRADA
She graduated from Universitat Politécnica de Valencia with a degree in Industrial Design and Fine Arts. She received a special mention at Iberoamérica Ilustra 2015 and won the same contest’s prize the following year. She was the winner of the 10th edition of Premio Internacional de Novela Gráfica Fnac-Salamandra Graphic (2017). The book Mexique, el nombre del barco is her first book of children literature.

Pep Carrió, who is a graphic designer, is not only that: Pep Carrió draws infinite diaries; illustrates his own and others’ books; edits books that weren’t there; builds memory enclosed in dream objects; shares knowledge and questions in courses, workshops, blogs. In this intertwining of truths a way of doing, of understanding the world, of communicating with others is defined.
