Description
On Christmas’ Eve, toy steam locomotive Hriuk lost its owner at the Kyiv-Passenger railway station. But thanks to this mishap, it got acquainted with its unique relatives – the residents of track number 14, where the Museum of Railway Transport of Kyiv is situated. Now young Drezyna, fast Manevrovyi, Mr Steam Locomotive from Budapest, and other residents of the museum exhibition will help and comfort baby Hriuk. They will also tell him and you more about themselves and Ukraine's railway heritage.

Author Biography
Nastya Muzichenko was born in the suburbs of Kyiv in 1985. She studied publishing and editing and worked for a long time in a publishing house specialised in children’s books, as well as with the team of the children's reading support project BaraBooka. In 2019, she made her debut as the author of the picture book Dreams for the couch. In the same year, she won the Write a book about me literary competition with a book for teenagers, the beginning of her writing career. Nastya is also a permanent member of the jury of book award Espresso. Readers' Choice.
Khrystyna Lukashchuk is a talented Ukrainian writer and illustrator. She was born in 1972 in Lviv and studied artistic ceramics. She specialised in architecture at the Lviv State Agrarian University. Since 2014, she has been writing and illustrating children's books. She has won the Coronation of Words (Koronatsia Slova) competition multiple times. She also won the Oles Honchar literary contest. In 2017, and the literary portal Bukmol recognized her as one of the best illustrators of Ukraine. She wrote and illustrated about thirty books. Her landmark book, A Tale of the Maidan (2014), was published in Ukraine and abroad. Halyna Vdovychenko's book The Owl Who Wanted to Become a Lark, illustrated by Khrystyna won the “Top BaraBooka” award as the best picture book of 2018 and was featured in the international catalogue White Ravens 2019.
