Handicrafts with Paper
by Julia Schmidt
Description
Paper crafting fun for small and large children
Paper offers endless design possibilities. And handicrafts are a lot of fun, especially for children, and encourage creativity even in the smallest children. How well both can be combined is also known by Funkelfaden blogger Julia Schmidt from Berlin. In her book she shows the funniest and most creative paper craft ideas for children from 4 years of age. 20 craft projects from cool monster bookmarks to funny birds made from toilet paper rolls to colourful paper flowers make you want to do paper crafting. And what child is not proud of something so self-created? With lots of step-by-step photos and simple, understandable instructions, all projects are easy to recreate and guaranteed to be unique. All craft ideas can be further varied individually by each child. The projects should above all serve as a stimulus and inspiration, to make you want to design freely. At the same time, they promote childish creativity and motor skills. The fun of tinkering with paper should always be in the foreground.

Born in Berlin, she lives in Neukölln with her adopted son and her dog. She actually studied journalism and history, but today she prefers to live out her creative streak as a blogger. She loves to be out and about with friends, be it in nature on hikes, in beautiful Berlin or anywhere else in the world. But her home is also an absolute oasis of well-being for her. It's colourful, creative and absolutely cosmopolitan, whereby individual happiness is always in the foreground. More about Julia Schmidt's DIY blog at: https://funkelfaden. de/
