Author Biography

Ed Jacobs is the founder of Impact Therapy and has served as a counseling professor at West Virginia University for more than 45 years.

 

Christine J. Schimmel is a full professor in the School of Counseling and Well-Being at West Virginia University, where she teaches courses in counseling techniques, group counseling, and counseling children and adolescents. She is a licensed professional counselor with more than 20 years of clinical and teaching experience. Dr. Schimmel has published numerous articles, books, book chapters, and monographs.

 

Bob Masson is professor emeritus at West Virginia University and has over 30 years of experience teaching courses in counseling.

 

Riley Harvill is co-founder of The HarBeck Company, Inc., a leadership and human resources training and consulting firm, and has served as an associate professor of counseling education at the University of North Texas.
