Mojiceja Podgoršek is well renowned Slovenian author with over 100 published books for children. Her books are reguarly listed for recomended literature in schools. She received an award Kalanovega sklada for her research on educational impact on reading and literacy in first grades of school. In 2008 her book was nominated for best original picture book. Every year she gets awarded for being among top 5 most rented authors in Slovenian libraries.
