This is a story about communication and understanding. The boy Andy, who had lost Tata the rabbit, was determined to become a vet when he grew up. One day, he got a chance to take care of the baby animals that had lost their parents somehow in the zoo. Here he met Ouch the gibbon, Tutu the wombat, Toady the ruffed lemur, Bell the meerkat, Clumsy the bird and Black Flash the crow duo.... He gave medical advice to those animals, stayed by their side in their most painful time and looked after them, but the baby animals could not understand his good intentions—they made all kinds of trouble for him and even called him “Devil”. Author Biography
Zhou Xiaofeng, born in 1969, professor at Beijing Lao She Academy of Literature, is the author of Stripes, The Collection, Your Body Is a Wonderland, The Deaf Angel, The Giant Whale Sings, Just Like A Migratory Bird , etc. She has won many awards including Lu Xun Literature Prize, Feng Mu Literature Prize, Zhu Ziqing Literature Prize and People’s Literature Prize, to name but a few. She started to write children’s literature in 2017 and has published fairy tale works like The Little Wing and The Star Fish.
