David Elligate writes about the colourful history of Gillingham FC both in the club programme and on supporter websites. Born a goal-kick away from Priestfield in 1946, David has supported the Gills for as long as he can remember – despite being educated at rugby-playing Gillingham Grammar School, and throughout a lifetime’s career in accountancy.
