Author Biography
Craig A. Evans is Payzant Distinguished Professor of New Testament at Acadia University's Divinity College, where he has taught since 2002. Professor Evans specializes in Jesus and Christian origins. He has published many books, including Jesus and His Contemporaries and From Jesus to the Church. He has presented papers and given lectures around the world and has appeared in numerous documentaries and news programs, including CBS Sunday Morning and Dateline NBC. Dr James A Beverley is Professor of Christian Thought and Ethics at Tyndale Seminary in Toronto, Canada and Associate Director of the Institute for the Study of American Religion, based in Texas. He is the author and editor of twelve books, including Nelson’s Illustrated Guide to Religions, Religions A to Z and Counterfeit Code, (Castle Quay Books) a reply to Dan Brown’s famous novel and Getting Jesus Right (Castle Quay Books). He has studied Mormonism since 1976.
