Author Biography

OA Marsteinstredet debuted as an author in the fall of 2023 with "Forgivness", a crime/thriller novel set in both Norway and the areas around Omak, a small town in the northwest of the United States.


While new as a published author, he has been writing stories and scripts for over twenty years, though his first publication came in 2023.


Odd Arne has a background as an officer in the Army, having completed both Officer Candidate School and the Norwegian Military Academy. After his military career, he spent many years working as a leader in the private sector.


Since he learned to read, he has had a passion for crime and thrillers, starting as a young boy with the works of Agatha Christie and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s stories about Sherlock Holmes.


Odd Arne is married to Anne and has two daughters, Vilde and Linnea. The family also has two Jack Russell terriers named Saka and Bowie, after Arsenal player Bukayo Saka and musician David Bowie.


He is currently working on the sequel to his debut novel.
