Author Biography
R. NARAYANASWAMY (PhD, UNSW, Sydney) is Professor of Finance and Control at Indian Institute of Management Bangalore. He was a Visiting Fellow at Manchester Business School and Osaka University. He is a Chartered Accountant, Cost Accountant and Company Secretary and holds the ICAI’s Diploma in Management Accountancy.
He has published in national and international journals, including Accounting Horizons, The British Accounting Review, The International Journal of Accounting, Journal of Accounting, Auditing and Finance, The Journal of International Financial Management and Accounting, Research in Accounting Regulation and Accountancy. He contributed a chapter on India in Globalisation of Accounting Standards published by Edward Elgar Publishing, UK.,
He has served on the board and audit committee of Indian Railway Finance Corporation Limited and Bank of Baroda and on the ICAI’s Accounting Standards Board and the Auditing and Assurance Standards Board.
