The third edition newly includes oriental dwarf kingfisher, azure tit and other. It gives detailed information such as the growth of Steller's sea eagle from juvenile to adult, comparison of primaries of similar species and more.

Masato Nagai is a professional bird-watcher. He is also a bird-watching tour guide, photographer, gives lectures and has written numerous books about birds. He is the author of more than 10 books including books published from Bun-Ichi Sogo Shuppan.
