Author Biography
Makena Onjerika é uma jovem escritora Queniana, vencedora do Prémio Caine para Escritas Africanas em 2018. Foi pré-seleccionada para o Prémio Bristol 2020 e foi nomeada para os Prémios Melhores da Rede 2020. Após a sua vitória no Prémio Caine, fundou a Academia de Escrita de Nairobi onde ensina o ofício da ficção a novos escritores e emergentes e colabora com outros escritores para ensinar outras formas de escrita criativa.
