Author Biography
Xue Mo, whose real name is Chen Kaihong, was born in Liangzhou, Gansu Province. As a professional writer and scholar, he is reputed as National First-Class Writer, vice chairman of Gansu Writers Association as well as president of Guangzhou Institute of Shangpa Culture. Xue Mo has been nominated for the Mao Dun Literature Prize for three times, and won the Dunhuang Literature Award five times in a row. He was also a winner of the Feng Mu Literature Prize and Shanghai Outstanding Novel and Novella Award, with his works selected into the Almanac of Chinese Literature and The Collection of Chinese New-Vernacular Literature Works.
