Diaspora literature is much discussed topic in the academia of the West. It is even taught in the English literature classrooms. The present age is known as the ‘Age of Diaspora’. Many of the Diaspora writers are presenting themselves globally. However, Bangladesh was not given importance in the global discussion and theory of it.
With a view to bring about a far-reaching pragmatic change in the book publishing field, Panjeree started its journey in 1994; and meeting all the challenges, it finally became a limited company in 2000. We have been successfully publishing educational books, reference books, novels, poetry books, comics, travelogues, and classics in translation etc. Our commitment to publish quality books has received wide acclamation. In 2009, we have opened PBS– the first bookstore chain in Bangladesh. Since then, PBS has become one of the most popular bookshops of the country due to its vast and rich collection of the international and national bestsellers.
