Dengue represents one of the greatest threats to public health of the 21st century. Its global expansion, reflecting enormous population shifts, has resulted in approximately 3 billion people living in areas at risk of dengue transmission. This book of eight chapters conveys the breadth of dengue research currently underway and underscores the importance of a multidisciplinary approach in tackling this disease.
