Author Biography
Gao Hongbo is the vice president of the Chinese Writers Association and the chairman of the Children’s Literature Committee of the Chinese Writers Association. His works include the essay collections Whisper, the poetry I Want to..., Gao Hongbo Prose of Selected (8 Volumes), and Gao Hongbo Prose of Selected (9 Volumes). His works have won the Chinese Governmental Prize for Publishing, the National Outstanding Children’s Literature Award, the “Best Works Award”, and the China Book Award. The cumulative sales volume of his picture book series, The Happy Piglet Bo Bofei, has exceeded one million copies, and its copyright has been exported to France, South Korea, Vietnam, and other countries.
