Description

This is the first illustrated edition compiling stories by one of the leading figures in 20th-century South American prose, which has forever been overlooked in Spanish literature. The singularity of his narrative was admired by Benedetti and Galeano.

This collection of stories reveals Barrett’s more literary side, which never forsakes the social criticism and demands to which we grew accustomed in his journalistic pieces The committed Valencian illustrator Clara Iris highlights the significance of the author's thinking through ink, strokes and biting irony.
