Author Biography

THE AUTHOR 
KATERINA LAGOU was born in Athens and lives in Corfu. She is a graduate of the Department of Law of the National Kapodistrian University of Athens and has a masters degree in commercial law from the University of Wales, Cardiff as well as one in History from the Ionian University. She is currently a PhD candidate in History. She has two sons. Her debut novel, Charilaos, has been awarded by the Women’s Literary Society, the Greek IBBY Section Circle of the Greek Children’s Book and the Ministry of Culture with a National Book award.

THE ILLUSTRATOR

PETROULAKRIGOU was born in Athens where she lives and works. She studied Fine Arts at the Kent Institute of Art and Design as well as Kingston University. Her work is very distinctive and characterized by quirky characters, strong colours, and original lines.
