Author Biography
A member of the A3 collective and self-taught, Georges Pondy was born on 8 March 1977 in Yaoundé and started in the 9th art by publishing two issues of the series Les Cop's in 2007. From 2009, he draws with Ntep Adams Kelly the successful series "Vie des jeunes". Sold at 100 FCFA, Vie des jeunes will print up to 150,000 copies. From 2010 to 2012, with the A3 collective, Georges Pondy participated in the adventure of the magazine Bitchakala in which he proposed the series 3H. Chrono and Pulsions. In 2017, he published with Akoma Mba the album CATY: Ca va chauffer, a complete story about his police heroine Jacky Wabo with the city of Yaoundé as a setting. In 2014, Georges Pondy became artistic director at Kiro'o Games where he participated in the Aurion adventure, the first Cameroonian video game. A prolific author with a drawing marked by anatomy, Georges Pondy is now a recognized author with a dozen comics to his credit.
